About the session
Through his globally popular agile comic strip, Comic Agilé, Luxshan will show how the format of comic strips is an effective way of teaching about the risks and learnings when teaching about agile.
Luxshan will share with the audience why and how the format of a comic strip is a powerful way of educating people on the wonders and pitfalls of agile.
By using humour, exaggeration and provocation, and by articulating complex agile points through either visualisations or a simplified dialogue between the characters, Luxshan will depict the tragicomical moments that occur when agile meets reality.
These depictions of what happens in real life during agile transformations, based on Luxshan's 12+ years in the industry, have turned out to be an effective way for him to teach agile practitioners how to approach and accelerate the implementation of agile practices.
Participant Takeaways:
In this talk, Luxshan will break down the mechanics of how to create an educational agile comic strip and the components of it, such as setting the scene, introducing some agile theory, building an expectation and delivering a punchline in the form of an anti-pattern, misunderstanding or just plain nonsense.
He'll also show and analyse some of their most popular strips as well as the agile lessons to take away from them.
Audience:
The session will be delivered in an entertaining and dynamic manner for all audiences ranging from Scrum beginner to agile expert.
